Sharon is one of the world’s leading PR strategists and experts on personal brand reputation and is also a public speaker, CEO, entrepreneur, broadcast media commentator, international marketer, Nine.com.au finance blogger, editorial contributor and mother of three. Sharon’s experience and knowledge is an unbeatable combination.
Sharon’s weekly 9MSN blog The Bullseye covering a range of business and industry issues achieved over 60,000 views every week and she was voted one of the Top 25 business bloggers in Australia by Smart Company. Her Twitterati column in The Australian, won critical acclaim from editors and journalists. Sharon has worked to reinvent brands through numerous crises across 6 continents and sees unique opportunity in every crisis to recalibrate and refocus. Sharon is also the co-convenor of the NSW Cook Society.
Sharon was born and raised in London, spent time living in Hong Kong before moving to Sydney, Australia where she founded Taurus, a multi award-winning agency in 1995. The Taurus Bullseye™ methodology she created has stood the test of time and over 2,000 brands have benefitted from the Taurus strategic Bullseye approach.

In 1995, Sharon established Taurus and her unique Taurus Bullseye™ methodology. Taurus is an integrated comms agency offering Strategy, Marketing, Govt, Crisis, IR, PR, Personal branding, Social Media and Creative in the Taurus branded suite of service offerings. Taurus is now recognised as one of Australia’s highest profile agencies with specialist offerings to entrepreneurs and leading corporates.
Sharon is passionate about empowering, educating and inspiring people of all ages. To this end, the Taurus Academy© was created with The Taurus FastTrack program to mentor young people graduating university. At last count, more than 1,600 people have benefitted from this mentoring program and many have gone on to take up major leadership positions, both locally and abroad in brands such as Canva, Atlassian, the Government, Aesop, Mecca or even created their own successful businesses.
Sharon is a PRIA Golden Target Award winner for her work on the Clean Up Australia campaign and The Bible Society’s Jesus All AboutLife campaign, resulting in her being selected by the Australian Anglican Archbishop, Peter Jensen, to be part of the Connect 09 Inspiring People series. Sharon also sat on the Sydney Prayer Breakfast Council.
As a highly experienced and entertaining public speaker and trainer, she has frequent engagements here and overseas, including at the annual ‘The Special Event Conference’ (Dallas ’06, LA ’07, Atlanta ’08,San Diego ’09, New Orleans ’10, Phoenix ’11). Zhuhai in ’11 for the largest printing convention in China, Miller Heiman’s National Sales Conference, The Small Business Champion conference 2018 and the ARN WICTA Awards in 2019.
Sharon works with Founders, CEOs, Directors and Boards partnering with them to introduce smart and practical brand, Marketing and PR concepts to achieve business objectives. Her energetic, ‘No Bull’ approach is unique – always strategic, yet completely actionable. Her methodology, the Taurus BullseyeTM has achieved much industry recognition.
Sharon mentors CEO’s as a Chair of The CEO Institute. She is also a councillor with the Australian British Chamber of Commerce, and has had experience as Adjunct Professor at the University of Notre Dame, Director to The White Knight Foundation, Ambassador to Good Beginnings (merged into Save the Children) and helped drive the Women in leadership initiatives at AmCham.
Sharon lives in Sydney with her three children. Her love of the beach and swimming gained her an Australian Surf Lifesaving Association bronze medallion in 2005, Silver medallion in 2013, honorary beach patrol leader in 2015. Ocean swimming is her main sport, and she swims all year round as part of the no wetsuit team.
